Try some new habits this new year. Here are some of our go-to’s!
-
Set a routine: It is important to provide balance to your life. Whether it is committing to a skincare routine or getting back on track with a health training program, a routine keeps you on a consistent track.
-
Self-care: Take time for you-time. Self-care takes many forms. For one individual it might look like cleaning your room and to another it might be singing in the shower. Do whatever makes you feel good, and keep it consistent.
-
Goal setting: Studies have found that if you physically write down goals, you are more likely to achieve them. Speaking about with your friends, family, and loved ones has a similar effect as well.
-
Set boundaries: Expectations of yourself and of others are always better clear. Boundaries are something you use in everyday life and just about everywhere.
-
Get more sleep: Teenagers need 8-10 hours per 24 hours. Adults need 7 to 9 hours per night. Be consistent with your bed and wake time. Create a comfortable and relaxing environment in your bedroom to help. Avoid using electronics around bedtime, studies show blue light can make it difficult for you to fall asleep and stay asleep.
